Bayou Lafourche Cleanup is an annual event where we clean up all 106 miles of our beautiful Bayou Lafourche!
Each year hundreds of locals, and volunteers from across the nation, join BETNEP in removing trash from our bayou. Volunteers come out in boats and on foot to join their communities to improve our water quality and way of life.
Bayou Lafourche has always been a source of life to the people who inhabit its banks, and has played a major role in the growth of the area. Our goal is to remove the litter abatement, and to encourage recycling.
